An alexandrite crafted by Adamantius, the god of the forge. It radiates with cosmic, clairvoyant energy.
Looking Glass. While in possession of the alexandrite, once a day, you may use an action to peer into the contents of the stone and view anything visible to the other gems of Adamantius' former Rod of Security. Upon using them as looking glasses, the gems will glow to inform their owner of your sight. The owners of the other gems can also choose to prevent you from looking through the gem by making an opposed Arcana check.
Portent. You also carry the weight of cosmic knowledge in your hands, allowing you to experience glimpses of the future. At the beginning of each day, you may roll a d20 and record the number rolled as a single portent roll. The alexandrite may only hold one portent roll at any given time. You can replace any attack roll, saving throw, or ability check made by you or a creature that you can see with one of these foretelling rolls. You must choose to do so before the roll, and you can replace a roll in this way only once per turn.
At the start of each day, you lose any unused foretelling rolls.
