Wondrous Item, artifact (requires attunement by a blood from the creature who fires it.)

Possessing a greenwood shaft, and tipped with an unbreakable obsidian arrowhead and black feather fletching, the arrow of death is a magical weapon meant to allow a creature to sacrifice themselves to kill any creature. The arrow requires a drop of blood from the creature that will fire it to attune to said creature. Once attuned, it requires a remove curse or greater restoration to break attunement. In order to use the arrow, the creature must speak the True Name of the creature it wishes to kill and then fire it. The arrow adds +8 to hit when used this way. If the target is hit, both it and the creature that fired the arrow are killed instantly and turned to ash. Nothing short of a wish or true resurrection after 50 years can restore the creature that fired the arrow. If the attack misses, the arrow can be recovered by the person attuned to the arrow. It takes 1 minute to recover the arrow from within 10ft of where the target was when it was fired.

If the arrow is destroyed, it will reform somewhere in the world in 20d10 days. If a person is attuned to the arrow, it will re-appear near them.

If the arrow is shot by a creature attuned to it but they do not speak the target's True Name, that creature takes 3d10 additional damage (force), and the creature that fired it gains 1 level of exhaustion. It then loses this power until the next dawn.
