This 2 meter long polearm has an intricately shaped dragon's head blade affixed to it's head, the end is also capped with a heavy white quartz crystal. This heavy weapon has the same statistics as a Halberd except it also deals +2 to attack and damage. In addition it adds +2 to spell attacks and increases spell save DCs of the wielder by 2. Additionally this glaive, after uttering it's command word as an action, can change its shape to that of a writing quill made of quartz. Lastly it posseses the Spell Storing quality. While in the writing quill shape the Spell Storing option can still be used, however it does not provide any bonus to attacks, damage, spell attacks, or save DCs.
Spell Storing: This weapon stores spells cast into it, holding them until the attuned spellcaster uses them. It can store up to 5 levels worth of spells.
Any creature can cast a spell of 1st through 5th level into the glaive by touching the dragon head while the spell is cast. The spell has no effect, other than to be stored in the glaive. If there are not enough available spell levels to hold the spell being cast, the spell is expended without effect. The level of the slot used to cast the spell determines how much space it uses.
While wielding this glaive, you can cast any spell stored in it. The spell uses the slot level, spell save DC, spell attack bonus, and spellcasting ability of the original caster at the time the spell was stored, but otherwise it is treated as if you cast the spell. Any spell cast from the glaive is no longer stored in it, freeing up space.
Proficiency with a Halberd allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Bonus: Spell Attacks, Bonus: Spell Save DC, Spellcaster, Heavy, Reach, Two-Handed, Cleave
