This item appears to be a longsword hilt. While grasping the hilt, you can use a bonus action to activate a blade of pure magical energy, or deactivate it. While the blade is active you ignore resistance to slashing damage when you attack with it.
You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon, which deals an extra 1d8 of force damage.
If this weapon is targeted by a Dispel Magic spell, the DC = 10 + your Intelligence modifier. If the caster succeeds this weapon is deactivated and cannot be reactivated until you succeed an Intelligence check, if you are able to cast a spell of any level you add your proficiency bonus to this check. Rolling for this check will spend your action regardless of the outcome as you are trying to restart your weapon while it's under the effects of the spell.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage: Force, Versatile, Sap
