This tube can fit 1 medium or smaller humanoid, construct or undead within its full mass. When a creature enters one tunnel the end tightens and locks the creature in. While within the tube the creature is immune to all damage except psychic.
Over the course of a short rest a creature within the tube can attempt to attune to the tube. Once attuned the machine activates and begins sucking the creature into the centre slab.
Over the course of 10 minutes the slab moulds and shifts the creature to look more ape shaped. The process is painless and often times the creature can't tell it's happening.
Once the 10 minutes is over the creature is forced out the other end. The creature retains its, Charisma, Intelligence and Wisdom, all its class features and hitpoints. But all other aspects of it become identical to the Ape stat block. Gaining any abilities the Ape gets and losing all race abilities the creature used to have. If the creature was humanoid it becomes a beast but if the creature was undead or a contruct the retain their creature typing and look like how they used to but more ape like. (Example, a ghost goes into the machine a gaunt Elven spirit but comes out a gaunt ape spirit).
