Weapon (maul), legendary (requires attunement)

You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

The anchor has twenty five runes, one for each plane other than the wielder's home plane. If you score a critical hit against a creature from a plane that's rune still shows, and has fewer than 100 hit points, it must succeed on a DC 15 Charisma saving throw or be bound by astral chains to your service. The creatures are subject to your command and unable to willingly harm you but otherwise behave as normal. The anchor loses the rune of a plane once a creature from it has been bound to the anchor. Unattuning from the anchor frees all creatures bound to it. If left unattuned the anchor regains an expended rune every 10 years. Githyanki silver swords and the like may sever the anchor's chains.

Once a powerful Marid sought to commission a weapon that would allow her to conquer a place for herself on every plane. The Anchor was turned on its designer and now fades in and out of history.

Proficiency with a Maul allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage, Combat, Heavy, Two-Handed, Topple
