Weapon (shotgun), rare (requires attunement by a by a barbarian)

This red steeld shotgun seems to be made out of a broken fiends horn and it's always hot to the touch. When you hit with an attack with this weapon, you deal an additional 1d8 fire damage. While attuned to this weapon, when you enter a rage, the shotguns barrel starts to flame. While raging, the weapon deals an additional 2d6 damage instead of 1. Additionally, as an action, you can shoot fire from the weapon in a 15 foot cone. All creatures in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 4d6 fire damage on fail, or half as much on a succesful one. You can use this feature a number of times equal to yor Constitution modifier, and regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Push. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can push the creature up to 10 feet straight away from yourself if it is Large or smaller.

Notes: by a barbarian, Damage, Combat, Range, Two-Handed, Ammunition (Firearms), Reload, Push
