This suit of armor is lighter than it's mundane counterparts, the STR requirement to wear this armor is reduced to 14.
Additionally, the armor is infused with magic to improve the wearers chances of survival. While wearing this armor, whoever is attuned to it cannot submerge in fluids. The armor works as a life-vest and keeps the wearer afloat.
As a final benefit, wearing the armor grants proficiency in the Survival skill.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
