Turn this on and off to simulate having mage armor cast upon you. Provides an Unarmored Bonus of +3, this stacks with other bonuses and will not function if armor is worn.

Posted Dec 3, 2019That is actually a brilliant solution! If my account could access this, I would give it to my Warlock immediately. The "Armour Of Shadows" Eldritch Invocation is useful, but can be forgotten when looking up stats...

Posted Jan 1, 2022The item doesn't work RAW for anyone who already has a modified Base Armor Class. It should be a "Set: Unarmored Armor Class", instead of a "Bonus: Unarmored Armor Class", unless you intend for Barbarians, Monks, Lizardmen, etc to have +3 AC rather than 13+Dex Mod. If you need a base item to start with, check out Robe of the Archmagi, & delete the non-AC modifiers.
