Wondrous Item, unknown rarity
"Created by a retired gnomish engineer/gourmet, this miniature wrist mounted flamer utilizes mechanical finesse and selected, regionally distilled booze, made from organically grown ingredients of finest quality, to flambé things in a more spectacular fashion."
- Barabel Potlid, Restaurant Critic
- To weaponize it against a creature within its 5 ft. reach, use an action to roll a melee attack.
- The targeted creature must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your dex modifier) or it takes 1d8 fire damage and is set ablaze.
- If it succeeds, it only takes half of the damage and can put out the flames.
- If the target is ablaze, it will take additional 1d4 points of fire damage (on the start of your turn) for the next 2 rounds.
- It takes an action (self/ally) to put out the flames.
- The flamer has 2 charges that can be refilled on a short rest with 1 pint of Rum, Whisky or other flammable booze.
