Weapon (longsword), rare (requires attunement)

As a reaction while attuned to this longsword, you can cast Absorb Elements as a first level spell. You can cast absorb elements in this way twice per long rest.

While attuned to this weapon, instead of the damage from Absorb Elements being used on the next melee attack, you can store the damage as one charge, as long as you declare that you will be storing it before casting the spell. You can store 5 charges. You can activate the gem as a bonus action, and the next successful melee attack you make with this weapon consumes all stored charges, dealing 1d6 Force Damage per consumed charge.

Any charges stored are lost on a long rest.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.

Notes: Versatile, Sap
