This alchemical apparatus focuses the power of volatile chemicals to enhance the equipment it is added to. you can take a minute to attach a potion of resistance, to the apparatus.
Armor: Tubes and pipes connect to your armor and the apparatus (affixed to your armor); during your turn, you can use a bonus action to activate the apparatus, coating your armor with the attached potion, granting you the effects of the potion, for half its duration, during the duration whenever you are hit with a melee attack, the attacker takes 1d6 damage of the potions resisted type. After using this bonus action, the potion is consumed. Due to the increased bulkiness, while wearing armor with the apparatus installed, your movement speed is reduced by 5 feet.
Weapon: The apparatus consists of a valve and alchemical tubing connecting to the hilt of the weapon. As a bonus action, you can activate the apparatus, granting you an extra 1d8 damage on your attacks for 1 minute. The damage type is the same as the potions resisted type. After using this bonus action, the potion is consumed. Due to increased bulkiness, weapons with this apparatus installed take a negative 1 penalty to attack rolls and ranged weapons also have their attack distances halved.
