Alakast

This magic quarterstaff was a gift from Nidrama to Surabar Spellmason, a gift intended to give the wizard an edge against the demonic legions under Nabthatoron's command. How this staff ended up, centuries later, discovered away from Surabar's tomb at the edge of the Demonskar's rim might be a mystery never solved. 

Alakast is fashioned of pale, almost white wood, and close inspection of the wood grain reveals strange flowing runes that spell out its name in Celestial. Alakast is a +2 quarterstaff that deals an additional 2d6 radiant damage when it is used to strike a fiend - both ends of the quarterstaff bear this enchantment.
