Armor (plate), artifact (requires attunement by a guardian of the seas)
An intricate self repairing suit of armour made of interlocking scales of metal and gem, forged with the lava of an ancient volcano in the centre of Mt. Celestia, by the Allfather and his champion. Imbued with shards of elemental power, forged into an impenetrable shield of faith and power.
- The armor grants you a +1 bonus to AC. You cannot use a shield with this.
- You can cast Armor of Agathys at a level equal to ½ their total level, rounded up, as a bonus action a number of times equal to your CON modifier per long rest.
- When attuned to this armour, you have 5 charges. With which you can spend them to do a specific action. When you first attune to this armour, you gain access to 2 abilities, Boiling Energy and Radiant Steam, costing 1 and 2 charges respectively. These charges return when you finish a long rest.
- Boiling Energy: For 1 charge, for the next hour, without concentration, your long jump and high jump distances are doubled.
- Radiant Steam: for 2 charges, as an action, you radiate steam from your entire body. For the next minute, or until you lose Concentration, each creature in a 10 ft radius of you must make an Intelligence saving throw, taking 2d10 + your Constitution modifier psychic damage on a failure. Half as much damage on a success.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
