Long ago, a terrible calamity emerged from the realms beyond mortal comprehension. The creators of the known worlds gathered powerful mortals to defend their creations. The gods of pure good chose a mortal warrior each generation to champion their cause. To heroes these deities deemed worthy, the mighty Amulet of Eternal Radiance was bestowed upon them. To the most devout and holy of recipients, this amulet granted a power unlike anything mortal eyes have ever seen. With this divine blessing, mortal creatures were given the power they needed to defend their homes from the malevolent forces of the Far Realm.
Special Prerequisite. To attune to this item, you must have received a blessing given by a good-aligned god.
Holy Symbol. This amulet can be used as a spellcasting focus by a cleric or paladin. The item grants a +3 bonus to spell attack bonuses and spell save DC.
Spells. While attuned to this item, you know the light, sacred flame, and spare the dying cantrips. Choose a spell up to 3rd level, you can cast that spell without using a spell slot, and requires no materials. You may cast this spell a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier. You regain use of this feature when you finish a long rest.
Godly Smite. This amulet has 10 charges. When you make an attack, you can spend up to 3 charges to deal extra radiant damage on a hit. The damage is 3d10 radiant damage per charge spent. The amulet regains 1d10 expended charges daily at dawn. When there are no charges left, roll a d20. On a 1, the gods withhold your power. For 7 days, the amulet can only be used as a mundane spellcasting focus.
Divine Call. Once every 30 days, you can cast the wish spell as though your god intervened. For 7 days afterwards, the amulet can only be used as a mundane spellcasting focus.
Random Properties. The Amulet of Never-ending Radiance has the following random properties:
- 2 minor beneficial property
- 1 major beneficial property
