This longbow, crafted from ethereal silver imbued with arcane lightning, bears the power to mete out justice upon the unworthy and shield allies from harm. It holds within it two potent abilities that can be invoked by the wielder, each fueled by the user's proficiency.
Abilities:
-
Thunderstrike: The wielder can expend a charge to infuse their arrows with crackling lightning energy. Upon a successful hit, the target takes an additional 1d6 lightning damage.
-
Aegis of Absolution: As a reaction, the wielder can expend a charge to create a protective shield of shimmering lightning around a nearby ally, reducing incoming damage by 1d6 + the wielder's proficiency bonus.
The Absolutions Lance holds charges equal to the wielder's proficiency bonus, replenishing each dawn. It resonates with the righteousness of its wielder, serving as a beacon of justice on the battlefield
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
