These 12 white polished quartz beads wrap in a circle ending in a single black onyx bead with a skull carved into it.
When you fall to 0 hp roll a d20 (DC 5) and you may use this item to instead remain alive at 1 hp. Each time you use this item the DC increases by 5. If you fail the DC you are instantly killed and considered dead. Each time you land a killing blow the DC is reduced by 1.
