Wondrous Item, legendary (requires attunement by a Any intelligent creature of chaotic neutral or above must make friends with the lute. This takes 1d4 hours.)

A white-golden mithral lute with a raven-shaped head, a gem-encrusted fretboard, and pegasus-hair strings. When played, it creates a sound worthy of many bardic myths. It can talk, either out loud, or in the mind of the wielder for a distance of 50 feet. It can be used as a weapon. It has an immense amount of wisdom and knowledge and, if action is used beforehand to give a sacrifice of money to the lute, it will grant additives to any Wisdom or Intelligence saving throws, skill checks, or Bardic Inspiration rolls depending on the money sacrifice. Only one sacrifice can be made per 10 actions.

To make a sacrifice, roll 1d20 and minus the amount of money needed from your coin bag. On a 5 or below, the sacrifice fails to work and the lute forgets the information. It must take a wild guess at the answer and since the two are bonded, the wielder must believe the information conceived of the lute.
