Weapon (light hammer), common

Andry Tealeaf created this weapon in the heat of battle against a hoard of pirate skeletons. Not wanting to get to close to the monsters, her quick wits came up with this improvised weapon, a hammer tied to her 50 foot hempen rope. Through practice the Halfling ranger soon found this modified weapon more deadly and effective than first thought

This hammer can be used as a melee or ranged weapon either using strength or dexterity

Range - 25/50

Damage - 1d6 + str. or dex.

Grapple - when you are within 25 feet of a target you can choose to attempt a grapple a creature(does not cause damage) on a success the target is restrained until the grapple ends. You can only target a creature that is in line of site

Reel in - Once grappled you can use a bonus action to pull a creature in 5 feet by making a successful strength check

Trip - Once grappled you can use a bonus action to pull the rope to trip the creature by making a successful strength check. If successful the target is prone

Critical Hit - If you Crit, the hammer ricochets and hits another target(of your choice) within 5 feet for an additional 1d6

Proficiency with a Light Hammer allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
