The Animated Cloak is a sentient cloak made from fine cloths, standardly with beautiful and fancy designs. Can come in many styles, colors, and textiles.
The Animated Cloak is a sentient magic item with INT 18, WIS 15, and CHA 11.
It has blind sight and can hear out to 60ft around it. They can telepathically communicate emotions and ideas to the creature attuned to it, but cannot speak. It does understand all languages of the attuned creature. The Animated Cloak is fully alive and able to move, meaning it can wrap it's self around objects and creatures, point at things, and cover stuff. It can do this on it's own or at the request of the wearer, if it chooses to do so.
- Gives advantage on perception checks.
- Gives advantage on Dexterity Saving Throws.
- Creatures that the wearer does not see do not have advantage on attacks against the wearer.
- On your turn, as a bonus action, you can speak the command word (agreed upon with the cloak during the attunement process) and it will fly off becoming an Animated Cloak that is controlled by you and acts on your initiative. When Being used in this way, none of the above stated benefits apply to the wearer until the command word is spoken again and the Animated Cloak is put back on.
Notes: Advantage: Perception, Advantage: Dexterity Saving Throws, 1 hour of meditation while wearing the Animated Cloak, Deception, Outerwear

here is the stat block for the Animated Cloak creature that it becomes with the command word. I couldn't figure out how to get it included in the item stat block. :(
