The AIC is a small first sized box. You can put it in a space with a ghost or a recently deceased body to capture a spirit. You may ask up to 5 questions to it and it is obligated to answer truthfully (yet not completely or directly). It cannot leave the space until after you release it or it answers it's 5th question. It takes time to recharge so you can only use it once per long rest
