Armor (plate), common
If you are wearing the armor, you can use an action to speak its command word, which causes it to doff itself, and drop harmlessly at your feet by the end of your turn.
If you are not wearing the armor but are in physical contact with it, you can use an action to speak its command word, which causes it to magically don itself onto your body by the end of your turn.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
