Prerequisites: Str 17, class-Barbarian
This weapon has two runes, and emits a cold fog.
The two runes represent Freezing Blade and Recall. Each rune has two charges. At the beginning of your turn, while the Axe is in your hand, roll a d6. On a 5-6, the runes each regain one charge. The runes also recharge after a short/long rest.
Freezing Blade. While raging, you may perform a ranged attack using your Strength modifier instead of Dexterity. The range of this attack is 15 feet, plus 5 feet multiplied by your Strength modifier, to a max of 40 feet. On a hit, the target takes regular weapon damage, plus an additional 2d8 cold damage. The target must then make a DC 15, plus your rage bonus, Constitution Saving throw or become frozen in place. This effect lasts 1 minute, or until the Leviathan Axe is removed from the creature. On a miss, your Leviathan Axe lands 15ft behind the target or embedded into a solid surface within that range.
Recall. If the Leviathan Axe is not in your hands at the beginning of your turn, and no more than 60 feet away, you may use a bonus action to recall the Leviathan Axe to your hand. The Leviathan Axe travels in a straight line to return to your hands. Nothing can interrupt its return, not even solid objects. On its return, all enemies within its path will have to make a DC15 Dexterity saving throwing On a fail, the enemy takes 1d10 slashing damage, on a success they take no damage.
Worthiness. This weapon may not be held by any other creature as long as its attuned to you.
Without attunement this weapon functions like a Battleaxe +2
Proficiency with a Battleaxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
Notes: Damage: Cold, Petrified, Versatile, Topple
