Atlas Armor

This mechanized clockwork suit of platemail was a utility for moving and construction of large siege projects. The suit itself is a massive construct weighing 400 lbs.

 

The suit is custom built for lifting and actually provides inefficient combat protection. When donned, it effectively changes the wearer's size to LARGE.

Benefits include:

• Effective Strength of 20
• Increased Carrying Capacity
• Resistance to bludgeoning damage
• Project Light (12/day) upto 20' radius

Drawbacks include:

• Inefficient combat protection (The armor appears to be full platemail but acts as splintmail)
• Lack of stealth (penalties and disadvantage)
• Inhibited reaction speed (Initiative and Dexterity based saving throws)
• Donning the Atlas Armor takes 30 minutes.
• Doffing the Atlas Armor takes 10 minutes.

• Carrying Capacity (STR x15): 1,200lb.
• Push, Drag, or Lift (STR x30): 2,400lb.
• Encumbered Weight (STR x5): 400lb.
• Heavily Encumbered Weight (STR x10): 800lb.

This armor is leather armor with heavy rings sewn into it. The rings help reinforce the armor against blows from swords and axes. Ring mail is inferior to chain mail, and it's usually worn only by those who can't afford better armor.
