This bow, seemingly made of solid amethyst, was crafted by an ancient amethyst dragon and given to a ranger who aided the dragon in its hour of need. Those who are unattuned to the bow are unable to draw the bowstring, as the bow is rigid like gemstone. But, once attuned, the bow can be drawn with ease.
You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. This weapon deals an additional 1d6 psychic damage. This weapon also carries 4 charges, and you can spend one charge to use one of the abilities listed below. Each ability can only be used once before needing to be recharged. You regain 1d4 charges after a long rest.
Pulse Arrow. In place of one of your attacks as part of the attack action, you can fire a psychic arrow that functions like the Pulse Wave spell. You can either use this ability directly in front of you, or fire an arrow that deals no damage and the spell will be cast from the point of impact. With this ability, you create intense telekinetic pressure in a 30-foot cone, deciding whether the pressure pulls or pushes creatures and objects. Each creature in that cone must make a Strength saving throw equal to your spell save DC. A creature takes 3d6 force damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. And every creature that fails the save is either pulled 15 feet toward you or pushed 15 feet away from you, depending on the choice you made for the spell.
Explosive Crystal Arrow. When you fire an arrow from this bow, you may cause the arrow to explode in a shower of crystal shards upon impact. All creatures within 20 feet of the arrow must succeed a dexterity saving throw equal to your spell save DC or take 3d8 magical piercing damage. A creature that succeeds its save takes half damage, and a creature hit by the initial arrow automatically fails its save. You can use this special arrow as one of your two attacks as part of the attack action.
Gravity Arrow. Channeling the power of the amethyst dragon who crated this bow, you fire an arrow of pure gravitational energy. This arrow still does standard damage, and upon impact, the gravity in a 10-foot-radius sphere centered on the arrow increases for a moment. Each creature in the sphere must make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 2d8 force damage, and its speed is halved until the end of its next turn. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and suffers no reduction to its speed. Until the start of your next turn, any object that isn’t being worn or carried in the sphere requires a successful Strength check against your spell save DC to pick up or move. You can use this special arrow as one of your two attacks as part of the attack action.
Dispelling Arrow. In place of one attack as part of the attack action, you can fire an arrow infused with anti-magic properties. This arrow deals no damage, and if your arrow strikes a creature, object, or magical effect, any spell of 3rd level or lower on the target ends. For each spell of 4th level or higher on the target, make an ability check using your spellcasting ability. The DC equals 10 + the spell's level. On a successful check, the spell ends. You can use this special arrow as one of your two attacks as part of the attack action.
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage: Psychic, non-lawful creature, Damage, Combat, Ammunition, Heavy, Range, Two-Handed, Slow
