Air pressure powered bolt guns made of brass pipes, steel frame and a wooden stock. The weapon is primed by pumping a hand crank.
Airbows are fairly effective at close quarters (15/120 ft.), though out ranged by longbows. These weapons are difficult to maintain but easy to use in combat.
The Quickfire model is the basic version used by most Aurines, it allows the user the over pump the airbow as a bonus action causing an extra 1d4 damage on the next attack, however doing so will reduce the attack roll by 1.
Proficiency with a Hand Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
