The Amber Eye is a magical gemstone enhanced by a strong sorcerer so that they may see the flow of magic through it as a lens.
The eye allows the user to have the innate ability to cast Detect Magic, as while the eye has charges, the user can see magic and sense whether or not an object contains magic and what magic it is depending on how in depth the analysis is. The gem allows the user to automatically dodge one melee weapon attack per turn as a reaction, as long as the melee attack is within the users line of sight. If the user were to be attacked by a spell attack or ranged spell attack that does not require a saving throw, the user can burn through one charge and dodge the attack as a reaction.
