A rectangular piece of paper that seems to shiver and hum as you take it, it will have one quote from an unknown mesenger whom will give you hints and warnings on things around it, it has a faded pink painting around it, with a small rectangle inside where the quotes appear, on the top is a small drawing of and eye that stares at the reader and to objects in the room, it can also use it's eye as a guide, looking at a object or place and making the player follow it's stare, you can only find the one bookmark inside the library of dreams, where it will be waiting on the first book you find and open, the only sounds it can make is small wispers that you cannot understand but that seem very secret and important when listening.

it takes an action to look at the bookmark

if the bookmark is, destroyed by any means, it cannot be fixed or remade, as it is an ancient sentient bookmark, but if it's remains are placed inside a book borrowed from the library of dreams it will be remade and still hold all it's sentence incantations.

if atuned to a magic user of any kind, i will become a mini familiar or a full familar if the player so chooses
