"After uniting the Orc warbands under his crimson banner, decimating towns and citys as they crossed the continent, Korrak grew more ambitious with each victory, eventually turning his sights on the great Dwarven fortress of Dhirmandel. The Orc hoard broke through the fortresses outer defences with seemingly little resistance, it was only when Korraks forces reached the inner walls did he realise he had fallen into a trap.
The dwarves, knowing they would eventually fall to the sheer numbers at Korraks disposal, had reinforced the inner keep with all of the defences that they could muster, meanwhile sending a small force into the mountains to parley with the Defenders of the mountain, Idrill and Anathor the Great Silver Dragons. Upon realising the threat of the orc hoard would not stop with Dhirmandel and that the mountain itself would be at risk, The pair agreed to aid, immediately heading to the rear of Korraks forces and launching an all out attack killing thousands and causing most of those left to flee.
Now trapped between the enormous Dwarven fortress and two adult dragons with the bulk of his army dead or fleeing as cowards, Korrak made his final stand, charging head-on into a fight with the dragons, using all of his power and growing to a colossal size he was able to cleave a wing from Anathor causing the dragon to crash to the ground. With the remainder if the hoard keeping Anathor at bay the battle between Idrill and the Colossal Orc came to an end as Korrak was able to strike a fatal blow upon Idrill before being frozen by the the dragons last breath.
Anathor angered by the loss off his Brother shattered the frozen Korrak and taking the form of a Dwarf claimed the Axe vowing to hunt down any orcs still loyal to Korraks Crimson banner.
Proficiency with a Greataxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
