This +2 long sword seems rather light for it's size when drawn from a scabbard. When drawn, the blade seems to have a scaled pattern running it's length. The cross guard has been worked to resemble two small snakes coiled around the blade, preparing to strike outwards from the blade.
With a mental command (No action required), noxious green liquid begins to seep from the fine edge, even dripping to the ground. When someone is struck by the blade, they will take an additional 2d6 damage from the poison. In addition, the target needs make a DC 15 CON save, or suffer the Poisoned condition.
Succeeding at the save does not reduce the Poison damage in any way, and if there are any subsequent Saves needed against this blade, they are made with Advantage.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
