A masterfully crafted adamantine shield. It has been imbued with protective magics to protect its wielder from even the most fatal of blows.
This shield provides an additional +1 bonus to AC, including the normal +2 provided by a shield.
Once per turn, whenever a creature that you can see within 60 feet of you hits you with an attack and rolls a natural 20, you treat the damage roll for the attack as a normal hit. Any additional effects that occur as part of the critical hit occur as normal, but you gain advantage on any saving throws or ability checks related to the triggering effect.
Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
