This leather book-holster belt combination is debossed with arcane writing and is enchanted to be stronger than regular leather. While you are wearing and attuned to this harness, your base AC increases to 11 and you gain a +1 bonus to spell attack rolls and to the saving throw DCs of your wizard spells. When found, it contains the following spells debossed into its leather straps which are wizard spells for you while you are attuned to it: Mage Armor, Shield.
This harness has two book-holsters and four leather potion and scroll straps that can function as pouches, each of which is disguised with illusion and is an extradimensional space. Each book-holster can hold up to 20 pounds of bound paper or booklike items, not exceeding a volume of 2 cubic feet. Each of the four pouches can carry up to 5 pounds of material that is no larger than a spell scroll or potion bottle. The entire harness always weighs 5 pounds regardless of its contents.
While there is an book, potion, or scroll in its respective containers, a tangible illusion of a non-descript item appropriate to the container appears in its place. No other creature than the one attuned to and wearing the item can take out an item from the harness.
Placing an object in the harness follows the normal rules for interacting with Objects. Retrieving an item from the harness requires you to use a bonus action. When you reach to grab an item from one of the containers in the harness for a specific item, the illusion of the item shimmers and changes to the item you wanted. While if you want to put an item in any of the harness' containers, it simply passes through the illusion as if it was intangible.
As an action, the creature attuned to the harness can choose to also pull an illusory copy of any item contained within the harness' book-holsters. This illusory copy is intangible to all creatures other than you, but still can be seen, those that attempt to read it, however, only see giberish. The illusory copy dissapates after a few seconds while it is not being held or read by you.
The harness has a few limitations. If a container of the harness is at maximum capacity, you can no longer place another item into it as the illusion becomes solid and fully tangible. If a strap that supports the containers is fully torn off or cut, the harness' illusions disapate and the item is destroyed. If the harness is destroyed, its contents are lost forever, although a random item stored in each container instead replaces the illusion, any magical item stored in a container will always be the one replacing the illusion. If the harness is fully unclasped and its belt unbucked, its contents spill forth, unharmed, and the harness must be bucked and clasped before it can be used again.
Placing the harness inside an extradimensional space created by a Bag of Holding, Portable Hole, or similar item instantly destroys both items and opens a gate to the Astral Plane. The gate originates where the one item was placed inside the other. Any creature within 10 feet of the gate is sucked through it and deposited in a random Location on the Astral Plane. The gate then closes. The gate is one-way only and can't be reopened.
