The Amulet of Necrotic Reversal is a medallion made of obsidian, polished to a mirror-like sheen. Etched in its surface are four runic symbols of an long-dead language. Inset into each symbol is a blue sapphire that, when examined closely, glows with an unearthly inner light.
If a person wearing this amulet is hit by a necrotic attack, the amulet reflects any damage back at the attacker. This includes necrotic-based undead powers, such as the Banshee Wail. Each time the amulet repels such an attack, one charge will deplete.
Each time a charge depletes, the light in one of the rubies goes out. When the amulet runs out of charges, it shatters into a thousand pieces of broken black glass, and the sapphires become lumps of mishapen iron. (i.e. the amulet is destroyed)
