"That time of year thou mayst in me behold
When yellow leaves, or none, or few, do hang
Upon those boughs which shake against the cold,
Bare ruin’d choirs where late the sweet birds sang."
Long ago, the Elves ruled and roamed the Asterian Valley in great numbers. Unfamiliar with war, they forged few weapons for it, but instead crafted tools for hunting the fantastical beasts that roamed the deepest parts of the wilds. The Eladrin smith Fylavan Silverwind forged this bow and it's cousins in his 700th Autumn, as he took the shape of the season. Made for the Wood Elven Tribes of the Samogost Wood, many elven ballads still remember the great hunts ended by an arrow from this bow. You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
Autumns Roar. As a free action, you can use the command phrase "Trees of Fire, Guide my Aim" to activate Autumn's Roar at the start of your turn. Once active, you are able to move without provoking opportunity attacks, you cannot make attacks with this weapon at disadvantage, and you can choose whether your arrows deal fire damage or piercing. This effect lasts until the end of your turn, and refreshes after a short rest.
Proficiency with a Shortbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage, Movement, Combat, Ammunition, Range, Two-Handed, Vex
