Ring, uncommon (requires attunement by a magic user)

The magic in this ring, or lack thereof, allows the user to manage the magic around them for a short amount of time.

As an action, you can activate a field of magical control that persists for 1 minute. Each creature of your choice within a 30-foot-radius sphere centered on you that can cast spells must make a Wisdom saving throw equal to your spell save DC or be marked for the duration. Each time a marked creature cast a spell within the area, you can choose whether the spell happens or not. Whenever a creature who is not marked casts a spell within the area, you can force them to make the same saving throw or be marked for the duration.

This ring has 3 charges and regains 1d4-1 charges daily at dawn.

Notes: Some say this ring was created by an ancient nation that had many devices available to them to track and capture mages. They used special wood called petricite that can absorb the magic to create their towering cities and supply their mageseekers with equipment to do their jobs., magic user
