The rings of this armor form together into a scale like pattern resembling the skin of a large snake. Upon the left breast is worked in the face of a Gorgon surrounded by a wreath of snakes for hair, the snakes and face appear to move and watch those around you.
While wearing the armor, you have a +3 bonus to AC; resistance to slashing, bludgeoning, and piercing damage; and immunity to poison, paralyze, and petrify. In addition, you can cast the Shield spell at will and Flesh to Stone (DC 17) spell twice per long rest.
Made of interlocking metal rings, a chain shirt is worn between layers of clothing or leather. This armor offers modest protection to the wearer's upper body and allows the sound of the rings rubbing against one another to be muffled by outer layers.
