Aurora Amulet

This prismatic gem looks to focus energy from the Astral Sea - for what, though, is unknown.

Once per day, you can place this gem onto the ground - when you do, it will balance on its tip and project bands of light onto surfaces up to 60 ft. away from it. The light appears in vague columns that cluster together, forming a white line toward areas in which valuable, magical objects are hidden.

The light from this amulet lasts until it is picked up again, at which point it cannot be used until the next dawn. This amulet cannot be used in areas of bright light, causing the projected light to not be visible.
