Anneli's Peas of Weal and Woe

Grown by master Botanist Anneli, this pod contains 3 peas and recharges one pea per dawn.

As an action, a creature can eat one of the peas. Eating one of the peas cures poison or disease, and restores 1 hitpoint. If a creature is afflicted with multiple poisons or diseases the pea cures one at random.

As an action, a creature can whisper the name of another creature it knows into the pea pod. Upon doing so a pea is shunted into the ethereal plane, and if the targeted creature is within 1000 miles of the user it reappears in a position to cause the target discomfort, such as under the target's bedroll, as it attempts to rest for one night. The targeted creature cannot gain the benefits of a long rest and if the target tries to find the pea causing it discomfort, the pea returns to the ethereal plane until the target attempts to rest again. If the target can’t be targeted by any divination magic or if the target is outside of 1000 miles of the user the pea remains within the ethereal plane. If the targeted creature is already exhausted the pea does not cause them any discomfort or impact their rest, but remains in proximity to them as if it was taunting them.
