This lightweight, powerful armor is high technology from a long forgotten civilization. It protects as well as plate armor but still allows a plus 2 Dex bonus thanks to its construction with strong and lightweight materials. It also enhances the users physical abilities giving them an 18 Str score and advantage on Athletics and Acrobatics checks.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
