This ancient, weathered dark blue splint armour has an attached black tabard that is embroidered with small silver stars. Almost imperceptible silver thread lines connect and dissect the stars in a circular geometric maze pattern. A person who has been ritually dedicated to the Mother Goddess Nyx will gain a +1 bonus to saving throws and armour class while wearing it.
Six stars, located on the tabard's upper front portion, are slightly larger than the others, and catch the corner of the eye with luminous twinkles. While wearing this armour, you can use an action to pinch off one of the stars with thumb and forefinger, and use it to cast Melf's Minute Meteors as a 5th-level spell. Daily at dusk, 1d6 removed stars reappear on the tabard.
While you wear the armour, you can use an action to enter the Astral Plane along with everything you are wearing and carrying. You remain there until you use an action to return. You reappear in the last space you occupied, on the plane you were on, or if that space is occupied, the nearest unoccupied space. With a Wisdom check DC 30, you may wrench control of the weave and warp, and re-appear on the inner plane of your choosing, in a known or random place.

This armor is made of narrow vertical strips of metal riveted to a backing of leather that is worn over cloth padding. Flexible chain mail protects the joints.
