Weapon (longsword), artifact (requires attunement)

Temerity Parnlonalal wields the legendary longsword Zovotviyola. One of her two signature armaments, Temerity uses the massive longsword to cleave her opponents in half and light their corpses aflame. According to rumor, Temerity journeyed to the Deep Forge in Thuvm to forge her blade, quenching the firesteel with her own blood. The sword glows with the light of an inferno, and flames dance across its edges whenever it is unsheathed. Only the most devoted of Evolga's servants have a chance of unlocking the blade's full potential.

Blade of the Consuming Fire. Temerity's sword burns with the ferocity of an active volcano. This magic longsword grants a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it. When you hit with an attack using this longsword, the target takes an extra 2d8 fire damage.

Additionally, if you score a critical hit with this weapon, you roll damage dice three times, instead of twice.

Blessing of the Bloodstrider. If you are a worshipper of Evolga, you gain the following benefits for which you have the required piety:

Piety 3+. You gain darkvision to a range of 60 ft. If you already have darkvision, its range is extended by 30 ft.

Piety 10+. You gain proficiency in intimidation.

Piety 25+. You gain resistance to fire damage.

Piety 50+. Your Strength or Constitution score is increased by 2, to a maximum of 24.

If you aren’t a worshiper of Evolga, the longsword has 2 randomly determined major detrimental properties.

Spells. The longsword has 10 charges. While holding it, you can use an action to expend one or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells (save DC 20) from it: fireball (3 charges), wall of fire (4 charges), or fire storm (7 charges). The longsword regains 1d6+4 charges daily at dawn.

Destroying the Whip. The means for destroying the whip, if they exist, are known only to Temerity.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
