Potion, uncommon

Arcanum is an oil-adjacent natural resource in the realm of Terra; magic incarnate, this oil can be burnt by advanced machines to fuel them, used in diluted forms to enable apprentice mages, and serves as an all-purpose cure-all in the hands of wise shamans and doctors. This potion contains some raw arcanum that has been bottled after bubbling up to the surface from the depths of the earth.
You can do one of the following three things with this bottle of magic oil, consuming the potion's magic in the process:
- You can spend one minute carefully coating your weapon in the magical oil to imbue it with magic. For the next hour, your weapon is treated as if it was a +1 magical weapon, gaining +1 to hit and damage rolls if it lacked it and magical damage for the purpose of besting resistances and immunities.

- You can use your action to shake the bottle lightly and then pour the activated oil over a weapon or its ammunition. For the next minute, enemies injured with the affected weapon or ammunition must perform an Intelligence saving throw (DC 14) or take 2d4 force damage, or half on a successful save.

- You can use your action to shake the bottle vigorously and then throw the bottle up to 30 feet to make it explode violently, creating bluish purple flames; everyone in a 5 foot radius must roll an Intelligence saving throw (DC 14) or take 18 (4d8) force damage, or half on a successful save. The same applies to anyone who enters the area for the first time in a round or ends their turn in the area. The oil burns for 3 rounds and deals damage to any creature that enters the area or ends its turn in the area. A creature can take this damage only once per turn
