Armor (studded leather), legendary (requires attunement by a a creature that is proficient in light armor. To attune, a drop of the creatures blood must be smeared on one of the thorns.)

Created by treants, this armor set has felled many a foe, striking them down after their attack hits the wearer. The armor looks relatively normal, but it is cover in gnarled thorns. While attuned to this armor, you have advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) checks. Also when a creature makes a weapon attack on you, they take 5d10 (27) piercing damage. If the creature succeeds on the attack the damage is doubled. A creature attuned to this item can only end their attunement by cutting off all the thorns on the armor. Once all the thorns have been cut off and the armor has been disrobed, all the thorns grow back stronger than before.

Made from tough but flexible leather, studded leather is reinforced with close-set rivets or spikes.

Notes: a creature that is proficient in light armor. To attune, a drop of the creatures blood must be smeared on one of the thorns.
