Angelic Core

A magical gem that comes in various shapes and colors, destroying it and putting the remaining dust on a weapon enchantes it with an effect that depends on the color and rarity of the gem.

They regularly are considered to be the frozen hearts of an angel.

(All effects of the angelic core dissipate after one minute or until washed with water)

The rarity of the core determines it's applied effect:

• Uncommon: the weapon sprinkled with this crushed core gains +1 to hit
• Rare: the weapon sprinkled with this crushed core gains +1 to hit and deals 1d4 extra radiant damage
• Very rare: the weapon sprinkled with this crushed core gains +2 to hit and deals 1d4 extra radiant damage
• Legendary: the weapon sprinkled with this crushed core gains +3 to hit and deals 1d6 extra radiant damage
• Artifact: the weapon sprinkled with this crushed core gains +3 to hit and deals 2d6 extra radiant damage, then the weapon is (forever) enchanted to forever deal an extra 1d4 radiant damage after the first effects wear off ( which happens after 1 minute or if the weapon is washed in water )(a weapon cannot be enchanted with multiple permanent damage boost)

      *If this consumable object is applied to an object enchanted by another effect that is applied to it by another consumable object the weapon is instantaneously destroyed.
