This medium armor is made of interlocking plates of hardened leather.
When the creature wearing this armor takes the Dash action, the wearer can curl up into a ball and move by rolling up to their remaining movement speed, imposing disadvantage on anyone taking attacks of opportunity.
The breastplate and shoulder protectors of this armor are made of leather that has been stiffened by being boiled in oil. The rest of the armor is made of softer and more flexible materials.
