Weapon (crossbow, light), uncommon (requires attunement)

After loading a crossbow bolt, you may use an action to concentrate on the crossbow instead of attacking. Doing so increases the damage die from a d8 to a d10 for the next attack with this weapon. If you use an action to concentrate on the crossbow a second time, the damage die can be increased further from a d10 to a d12 for the next attack. This effect lasts as long as you remain concentrating on the crossbow (as if concentrating on a spell). If concentration is lost, the crossbow returns to it's normal state, and the damage die returns to a d8.

Proficiency with a Light Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
