A warp crystal allow any creature to travel anywhere on any plane of existence. To travel there the creature must think of the place they desire to go and crush the crystal. There are bonuses and negatives to how they can end up. If the creature has heard of the place they get a -1, if the creature has seen the place they get no bonus, if the creature has a special connection to the place they have a +1, and if the creature calls the place home it has an instant ride home. Roll a D10 and consult the following table:
1-2: consult bad stuff table
3: take 27 (5d10) magical force damage and fail.
4: take 5 (1d10) magical force damage and fail.
5-6: heal 5 (1d10) hit points (overflow hit points are converted into temporary hit points) and make it.
7-8: heal 27 (5d10) hit points (overflow hit points are converted into temporary hit points) and make it.
9-10: consult gain table, heal 38 (7d10) hit points (overflow hit points are converted into temporary hit points), and make it.
11: consult heavenly luck table, heal all hit points, the crystal does not break, and make it.
Bad stuff table. Roll a d100 and consult:
1: Die. Only a true resurrection or a wish spell can bring you back to life.
2-20: End in a random plane in a random place.
21-50: Run into a random creature with an evil alignment.
51-80: Run into a xorn.
80-90: Run into a lich.
91-99: Lose all items that are not magical.
100: You are dead. Dead, dead, dead with your soul locked away in a black diamond cast to the bottom of the nine hells like the spell Imprisonment. The only way to get out of the gemstone is to wait 100 hundred years to the day and have the gem bathed in dragon blood. You will then grow to normal size over 1d100 minutes in your body (without items) you had before the... mishap.
Gain table. Roll a d6 and consult table:
1: You gain 2d10x100 GP.
2: You gain 4d10x100 GP.
3-4: Your Wisdom score increases by 2 and so does the max.
5: You gain 5d10x100 PP.
6: The crystal doesn’t break.
Heavenly luck table. Roll a d10 and consult the table:
1: Meet your preferred deities.
2-3: Gain a random rare magical item.
4-5: Gain a random very rare magical item.
6-7: Gain a Random rare and very rare magical item.
8: Gain your favored deities favor.
9: You gain another crystal.
10: You gain benefits from numbers 6, 8, and 9.
