Weapon (greatsword), very rare

August, an everchanging blade, August retains a sentience not matching other weapons in it's class, August takes on the nearest capability of the individual it's attuned too, having two forms.

Active state

The sword is awakened and in a shape in relation to the thought of the user at the time, or it will take it's default state.

-Current default state looks like a moon touched rapier.

Inactive state

The sword takes the form of it's handle, or a piece of jewelry unique to its user.

- Current inactive state is the handle of its desired look.

Evolutionary track

August, as it's name is based, has no set form or capability, each moonblade is somewhat different and August takes no strives against that.

August has 6 slots hidden within the handle, each of these slots is filled with a gem, the gem is in relation to the blades level. The level is determined by the DM and allows separate roles for specific uses, or differences between the individual that is the blade, and the wielder of said blade.

Custom Roll table

August has a custom role table that's made in relation to the weapon, Consult your DM for details on it, or go in blind to roll, you can roll a new attribute each day, the prior day's attribute (unless specified) will be wiped away, leaving the weapon with something different most (if not all) days

-note If in authors campaign you will have to roll and find out, this description will be updated as the table is revealed.

Choice of roll

August isn't a picky weapon, as such their use case isn't either, because of their ever changing shape you can use Dex, Str, or Cha, as the weapons combat modifier

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.

Notes: Damage: Melee Weapon Attacks, Heavy, Two-Handed, Graze
