Acquisitions Incorporated Letter Opener

This Acquisitions Incorporated (AI) Letter Opener was specially commissioned to let you, our unpaid intern, franchisee, or sub-contractor know that Acquisitions Incorporated appreciates your willingness to sign any document placed in front of you without reading it.  The letter opener is a plain steel blade without cross guard or grip designed to dispatch letters and small envelopes in an efficient manner.  It has the AI logo etched into the face of the blade where it transitions from sharp to not quite so sharp .  Since it is not designed for combat, AI corporate policy prohibits the use of the AI Letter Opener as an improvised weapon and assumes no liability for any injuries that may occur should the AI Letter Opener be used in a reckless manner.    

Used as a dagger, this AI Letter opener grants a +1 to attack and damage, but is just really, really sharp, not magical.  As such, the +1 bonus does not affect creatures which are immune to normal weapons.  The extremely well made edge imparts the Savage Attacker Feat to any wielder (you can reroll melee weapon attack damage once per turn).  The poor design renders use as a weapon dangerous, possibly cutting the wielder's hand if they are not careful (DM may assign 1 point of damage to the character on an attack roll of 1).  

Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
