Ahnka'ri, the Starseer is a smoky dark gray quartz ring lined with platinum trim. The dark mists within the crystalline quartz swirl and beckon eyes towards it, wherein one sees a perfect, magnified reflection of the stars above.
This item functions as a Star Map for a Druid of the Stars. It also serves as a spellcasting focus for any spellcaster.
Features: while attuned, the ring glimmers with starlight and vibrates with stellar energy.
As an action, you may roll 5d4. The total equals the number of stars that then begin to orbit your head. These stars remain for up to 8 hours, so long as you remain alive and attuned. While these stars orbit your head, you may choose 1 of the following effects that can be changed with an action:
~Dark Matter: Gain temporary hit points equal to the number of stars orbiting your head. While in this form, you may sling any number of stars towards your allies, granting them advantage on their next attack for 1 minute and healing them for 2 per star spent.
~Stellar Flare: Your eyes and fingertips glitter with white-hot radiant fire. As an action in this form, you may sling any number of stars you have active at enemies.As an action, Make spell attacks for each target. On hit, they take 1d6+WIS (or your spellcasting modifier, if it's different) radiant damage per star spent. While in this form, you may spend one star as a bonus action to grant you fly speed for 1 round equal to your movement doubled. At the end of this round, you no longer fly. You may spend 1 star as a reaction whenever you take damage from an attack within 5ft, causing that enemy to take 2d6+wis radiant damage.
~Black Hole: Your lips darken as void fills your mind. You gain additional 1d6 force damage on melee attacks. As a bonus action, consume a star and cause an enemy you choose within 15ft to make a con save of DC equal to your spell DC. On fail, they take 2d6 force and are pulled towards you 10ft. Success grants them half damage and they are not pulled.
